MAXMAG is sold by lens. Pick yours, fit its adapter once, and every MAXMAG filter goes straight on.

How it works

Three moves, then shoot.

The adapter stays on the lens. Everything after that takes a second.

Fit the adapter

Clamp the dedicated adapter around the lens barrel, or thread a ring onto an 82mm, 95mm or 105mm lens, and leave it there.

Snap the filter on

The magnets pull the filter into place on their own, square to the lens, in about a second.

Twist to lock

Rotate until the handle meets the white line. Turn it back to unlock, and the magnet keeps hold until you lift it off.

Why MAXMAG

Built for the widest glass.

The lenses that most need filters are often the ones that could never take them. MAXMAG fixes that without the bulk of a square filter holder.

01 / 06

No thread, no problem

Lenses built without a filter thread get an adapter that clamps around the outside of the barrel and adds a full MAXMAG mount where there was none.

02 / 06

On in a second

Strong magnets pull the filter square onto the adapter. No threading and no cross-threading, just a quick swap while the light is still changing.

Locked, not just held

Twist until the handle meets the white line on the adapter. Knocks, wind and a swinging camera strap will not shift it. Turn it back and the magnet still holds it for a quick change.

Stack without dark corners

Ultra-slim frames let you stack up to three filters on the Nikon Z 14-24mm at 14mm, and two on the Sony 14mm GM, Canon RF 14mm and Olympus 7-14mm, with no visible vignetting.

Caps stay on

The front cap fits over mounted filters, so the camera goes into the bag with its filters still on and protected.

Packs flat

Filters stack together with front and back caps attached, and the MAXMAG pouch carries the whole set.

Questions

Before you buy.

Will MAXMAG fit my lens?

There are clamp-on adapters for the Nikon Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S, Sony FE 14mm f/1.8 GM, Canon RF 14mm f/1.4 L, Olympus 7-14mm f/2.8, and cinema lenses with a 114mm front. Lenses with an 82mm, 95mm or 105mm filter thread use a thread-on MAXMAG ring instead.

How many filters can I stack?

Up to three on the Nikon Z 14-24mm at 14mm, and up to two on the Sony 14mm GM, Canon RF 14mm and Olympus 7-14mm, with no visible vignetting. On the thread-on rings, two stacked filters stay clear on most lenses.

Do MAXMAG filters fit my other JetMag Pro adapters?

MAXMAG is the largest JetMag Pro size, built for ultra-wide lenses. MAXMAG filters pair with MAXMAG adapters, rings, caps and pouches.

What is in the Landscape ND Kit?

The lens-specific kits for the Nikon Z 14-24mm, Sony 14mm GM and Canon RF 14mm include an FS ND64 (6 stop), FS ND1000 (10 stop) and True Color CPL, the adapter for that lens, front and back caps, and the MAXMAG pouch. The universal kit adds an FS ND8 (3 stop) and a second front cap, and leaves the adapter for you to choose.

Will the filters stay on during a shoot?

Yes. The magnet holds the filter while you seat it, then a twist locks it mechanically to the adapter. Stacked filters lock to each other the same way.

Can I leave the filters on in my bag?

Yes. The front cap fits over mounted filters, so the camera can go into the bag without taking anything off.
