JetMag Pro FS GND
A 3 stop graduated ND that snaps on magnetically and locks. Two blends, Medium and Soft, in 82MAG and 95MAG, and full spectrum glass that leaves the colour where you found it.
Before you choose
Two blends, one density
Both cut the same 3 stops. The only difference is how long the blend takes to run from dark to clear, and that is decided by how far your subject climbs up the frame.
1/2 graduationReach for it when
The 1/2 blend sits between a soft grad that can lack definition and a hard grad that looks abrupt.
1/3 graduationReach for it when
Only the upper third carries the full effect, so the blend passes over anything tall gradually.
The four filters
Buy for your largest lens. The filter is the expensive part and it moves between lenses, so pick the size that suits your biggest front thread and add a low cost adapter ring for each other lens. 82MAG covers most full frame zooms; 95MAG is for the big glass.

The adapter ring is sold separately and is the only part that is lens specific. Your thread size is printed on the front of the lens or inside the lens cap, next to the diameter symbol. The full range, including kits with a magnetic front cap, is in JetMag Pro Adaptors.
Why FS GND
A bright sky over darker land is more range than a sensor will hold. A graduated ND puts the exposure back inside it before you press the shutter, and full spectrum glass means there is nothing to correct afterwards.

GND8 (0.9) takes 3 stops out of the graduated area and leaves the rest of the frame alone. The sky comes back with cloud detail in it, the foreground keeps the exposure it already had, and the two halves of the picture agree.

Medium runs a 1/2 graduation and holds definition along a line that stays low. Soft runs a 1/3 graduation and passes gently over anything that climbs. Same density, same glass, same mount: pick by the shape of the scene.

FS means the density is even right across the visible spectrum, so the darkened part of the frame does not pick up a cast the clear part never had. That matters most in video, where a shifted grad drifts through a moving shot and cannot be fixed with one slider.

The magnets catch the filter and seat it square on the adapter ring, and the patented lock holds it mechanically after that. No threading in the cold while the light goes, and it stacks with the rest of the JetMag Pro range in the same size.

An ultra slim aerospace grade aluminium frame keeps the filter out of the picture on wide lenses, and the graduation is engraved on the edge. Two grads in the bag look identical from the front, so the engraving is how you grab the right one in the dark.

The Pro Nano coating repels water and oil and cuts reflections, so spray beads and lifts off and flare and ghosting stay down. A grad lives on the front of the lens at the coast and in the rain, which is exactly where an uncoated filter gives up.
