The fine print. Affiliate terms of use.

We reserve the right to approve or reject any Affiliate Program application at our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your application.

All accounts require approval. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been accepted.

Your commission rate is shown in your affiliate area. Rates can differ by product: some ranges, including cinema lenses, carry a lower rate, and that rate is applied automatically at checkout.

Commission is paid on orders shipped to Australian addresses.

• You cannot refer yourself, and you will not receive commission on your own orders.
• Commission is only paid on transactions that complete successfully. Orders that are cancelled, refunded or charged back are deducted from your balance.
• Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually pays, after any discount has been applied.

Payouts are made on request, not on a fixed schedule. Once your balance reaches a minimum of $50 AUD, you can request a payout at any time from your affiliate area.

You can take your payout as a PayPal payment or as store credit, whichever you prefer. Choose your method when you request the payout.

PayPal payouts are sent to the payment email held on your account. Keeping those details current is your responsibility.

If you have been issued a coupon code, it is subject to the following, which the store enforces automatically at checkout:

• Your code cannot be combined with any other coupon code or discount. Only one code can be applied to an order.
• Your code does not apply to items that are already on sale or reduced. If a customer has both sale and full price items in their basket, your code discounts the full price items only.
• Your referral link still earns commission on sale items. You are not disadvantaged when a product is discounted. Only the stacking of a further discount on top of a sale is blocked.

Codes are issued at our discretion. If you have not been assigned a code, you may not promote one.

Your coupon code is for your own audience: the people who follow your work and who you refer directly.

Coupon codes uploaded to coupon or voucher websites, where shoppers find them by searching rather than through a direct referral from you, will be cancelled and the affiliate account suspended.

In addition, the following apply to any affiliate considering promotion in relation to a deal or coupon:

• You may not use misleading text on affiliate links, buttons or images to imply anything besides the deals currently authorised to you.
• You may not bid on “NiSi Filters Australia coupons”, “NiSi Filters Australia discounts” or other phrases implying coupons are available.
• You may not generate pop-ups, pop-unders, iframes, frames, or any other seen or unseen action that sets an affiliate cookie unless the visitor has expressed a clear and explicit interest by clicking a clearly marked link, button or image for that particular offer. Your link must send the visitor to our site.
• The visitor must be able to see the coupon or deal details before an affiliate cookie is set. “Click here to see coupons”, where the click opens our site or sets a cookie, is not allowed.
• Affiliate sites may not display “click for deal” or any variation when no deal is available. Affiliates doing so will be removed from the program immediately.

Your application and status in the program may be suspended or terminated for any of the following reasons:

• Inappropriate advertising, including false claims and misleading hyperlinks.
• Spamming, including mass email and mass newsgroup posting.
• Advertising on sites containing or promoting illegal activities.
• Failure to disclose the affiliate relationship for any promotion that qualifies as an endorsement under the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, or any applicable state laws.
• Violation of intellectual property rights. NiSi Filters Australia reserves the right to require licence agreements from those who use our trademarks, in order to protect our intellectual property.
• Offering rebates, coupons or other promised kick-backs from your affiliate commission as an incentive. Adding bonuses or bundling other products with NiSi Filters Australia is acceptable.
• Self referrals, fraudulent transactions or suspected affiliate fraud.
• Posting your coupon code to a coupon or voucher website.

In addition to the above, NiSi Filters Australia reserves the right to terminate any affiliate account at any time, for a violation of this agreement or for no reason.

You may use graphic and text links on your website and within your email messages. You may also advertise NiSi Filters Australia in online and offline classified advertisements, magazines and newspapers.

You may use the graphics and text we provide, or create your own, as long as they are appropriate and do not breach the Termination section above.

PPC bidding is not allowed without prior written permission.

NiSi Filters Australia will not be liable for indirect or accidental damages, including loss of revenue or commission, caused by affiliate tracking failures, loss of database files, or any result of intent to harm the program or our websites.

We make no express or implied warranty with respect to the program or the products sold by NiSi Filters Australia. We make no claim that the operation of the program or our websites will be error free, and we will not be liable for any interruption or error.

The term of this agreement begins upon your acceptance into the program and ends when your affiliate account is terminated.

The terms and conditions of this agreement may be modified by us at any time. If a modification is unacceptable to you, your only recourse is to terminate your affiliate account. Your continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of any change.

The affiliate shall indemnify and hold harmless NiSi Filters Australia and its affiliated and subsidiary companies, officers, directors, employees, licensees, successors and assigns, including those licensed or authorised by NiSi Filters Australia to transmit and distribute materials, from any and all liabilities, damages, fines, judgements, claims, costs, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and costs, arising out of or related to any claim sustained in connection with this agreement due to the negligence, misrepresentation, failure to disclose, or intentional misconduct of the affiliate.

This agreement is an electronic contract that sets out the legally binding terms of your participation in the NiSi Filters Australia Affiliate Program. You indicate your acceptance of this agreement, and of all the terms and conditions contained or referenced in it, by completing the NiSi Filters Australia application process. That action creates an electronic signature with the same legal force and effect as a handwritten signature.
