NiSi offers a wide range of Circular filters in a large variety of sizes that screw onto your lenses. They include circular polarising filters to reduce glare and increase saturation, neutral density filters to control shutter speed or shoot with a wider aperture, Natural Night FIlters to reduce harsh yellow light from night images, Variable ND filters to control a range of light blocking, and finally UV and protection filters to protect lenses. Circular filters easily screw into the filter thread of a lens, and you can usually find the filter thread printed on the back of the lens cap.

Circular UV and protection filters are the most popular and widely used filter NiSi offers. A circular protection filter is a type of optical filter that is used to protect a lens from damage. We recommend using one with every lens you own. NiSi UV and protection filters offer no visible loss in sharpness and high transmittance.

A CPL filter is a circular polarising filter. It removes unwanted reflections from nonmetallic surfaces and increases saturation. CPL filters are commonly used to increase saturation in blue skies or forest scenes with green foliage, or to reduce haze in landscape scenes. An ND filter is a neutral density filter. It reduces the amount of light that passes through the lens. This allows for a slower shutter speed, which can create a motion effect or help to shoot with wider apertures in scenes with more light, for example shooting outdoors. ND filters are commonly used for landscapes to capture a longer exposure and create a more dramatic effect.
